A silly romance novel of 19th century English courting seasons. Perfect for a quick escape.

3.75/5 ⭐️
This probably is the first book I’ve read where I liked the middle better than the beginning and the end. The begging was awkward and cringe while the end felt like filler. Overall it was okay. Mid. Curious for more of my thoughts about it, check out the notes I left while reading.

Sometimes you just need some candy in your reading diet. This was exactly what I needed.

I don’t know how to rate historical fiction for myself yet, but if a book makes me feel every emotion and swoon so hard for love that i’m not taking in enough oxygen, it’s gotta be a 5 ⭐️

The climax, climaxed hard on this one ;) I'll give it a 3.5 stars!
