“That’s really the only difference between me and you. I never shrink myself to make myself more likable.”
This was such an amazing read. It had an interesting twist on a second chance romance that I just couldn’t get enough of.
This book had life struggles, humor, romance, and an adorable 6 year old sprinkled on top. I can’t really express how much I enjoyed this book.
I’m going to add that I think there is a trigger warning of infertility in this book. If that’s something that triggers you, proceed with caution. Otherwise, I would recommend picking this one up.
Thank you Netgalley and publishers for this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is such a feel good story with well developed and relatable characters! I loved Bea and felt like I was right there with her on her journey. I loved the female friendships in the book as well as relationship development between Bea and Jack. Both characters made so much growth throughout the novel. There were parts in the book that made me giggle, swoon, and tear up. What more could you ask for in a book??
Definitely recommend if you're a fan of second chance romances! Add it to your TBR and look for it coming

Beatrice's life is turned upside down when her boss announces that not only is she is moving to Ireland, but Bea is expected to drop everything and fly to Ireland twice a month for work. If that's not bad enough the new CTO is Jack, the boy who broke Bea's heart many years ago. Bea finds herself trying to navigate her custody arrangement with her ex husband while juggling a new "only in Ireland" relationship with Jack.
Unfortunately this was a miss for me. I did not like Bea and I found myself constantly siding with her ex-husband when it came to their son.
Was that intentional? Did the author expect that to be the case when writing their interactions? I don't know, but it put a sour taste in my mouth when it came to that character. Because of that dynamic, I found it hard to see her as anything other then selfish and childish.
