bad ending, also is the FMC closeted? she talks about how attractive her female violent bullies are in great detail almost constantly
This book had me hooked from the very beginning and I found myself absolutely devouring it. I absolutely love Ylfa and how she never gives up no matter what is thrown her way. I enjoyed the fact that the guys had different personalities and I have to admit that I love Brent (sorry not sorry). I can’t wait to see what happens next.

"He doesn't even blush when he shows me his own ding dong."
I feel like a teen on Wattpad 10 years ago, clichés and cringing and all. I can't fanthom that the MCs are 20+ yo with how immature they talk and act. What propelled me to finish this, I don't know, but I can't read on. I am just a tiny bit curious to see the FMC and how it'd work out, but not enough to drag myself through X books.

A beautiful coming of age, rejected mates book. The female character whilst appearing weak to her bullies turns out to be an amazingly strong character. A truly enjoyable slow burn read. Im exciting to see what becomes of her and the twists and turns the storyline has taken so far.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t for me. The characters lacked depth and the writing seemed disjointed.
DNF. Writing is just super choppy and there’s a lack of depth in all of it. Patrick was great.
Quickly got over the FMC pining over her rejected mate after he rejects her TWICE. Like girl, have some dignity.

When I read the description of this book I knew I had to read it. I think what appealed to me most is that it said upper young adult, so I knew it would be full of angst and, I was sure, a love triangle. And I was right. Not exactly a love triangle, more of a love square so even better.
This book had a bit of everything: mates, prophecies, angst, bullying and young love. It was an easy read but it was very entertaining. It’s exactly a book I would’ve read in my late teens but it can still be read now and is just as good.
I think the world building was very efficient and I liked the bit of depth we got from the characters. They were all very distinguishable and memorable. Some parts of the story weren’t as original like a shiftless wolf being granted a wolf by a goddess but other parts of the story were and they really upped the entertainment value.
This was a quick read and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

Wolf Blessed is a rejected mate romance set in a dystopian world, and I am here for it. It’s a great start to a new series, and I am looking forward to the next books.
Here we meet Ylfa. Considered a “dud” her whole life for being a wolf shifter with no wolf, she was constantly dealing with bullies and being rejected. Every person in her life rejected her, except for her one friend Patrick.
One night, her newly revealed fated mate rejects her in front of everyone, everything changes, and the moon goddess herself blesses Ylfa with a wolf of her own. This sets in motion a series of events that allows our characters to grow.
I really liked Ylfa’s character development. Hating the bullying but never feeling she’s strong enough to stand up to her tormentors, Ylfa gains a new perspective on life when Luna grants her with a wolf. We can see her confidence blossoming, and every time her fated mate rejects her and shakes her newfound confidence, she is able to come back up even stronger. She has potential to be one badass heroine. I enjoyed Patrick’s and Hunter’s character growths, as well. What will the second book hold?
