I LOVE unlikely heroines, that combined with a strained (to put it gently) mother daughter relationships from multiple generational perspectives and unconventional family dynamic, relying on loved ones and what we owe each other!! oh my god so beautifully heart wrenching and profound. It was short but I read it in a day so good

This is a slowly unfolding mystery that flips our initial impression of what the story involves and really turns the reader's assumptions and interpretations around. Extremely cleverly done and an excellent translation.
