Great concept, strong writing, but the lack of a character that I really cared about left me a bit cold on this one. Still, I'd happily pick up any further adventures in this world where death is just another 'country'...!

Full review, as ever, available on my blog.

A bit slow to start but gets going and ends with a rush. Enjoyable.

Ihan viihdyttävä ja sujuva yliluonnollinen vakoojatarina sellaisessa Hellboy meets John le Carré -hengessä. Ei mitään ihmeellistä, olisi varmasti oikeissa käsissä mainio elokuva.

Found it hard to get around the premise of an afterlife as a fourth dimension.

Spy thriller with ghosts. A bit of a slow start but really neat world building.

a charming surprise, combine the early twentieth century london, with the spy world and ghosts and their realm! this book is filled with page after page of fascinating people and events. it mixes the world of speculative fiction and le carre type spy novels beautifully
