Read really quick and enjoyed every minute of it. The characters were also enjoyable and all had their own personalities. Really recommend this book for anyone who’s into romance or fake dating books!

Honestly, the relationship (fake or not) between Olive and Adam is one of the best I’ve read in many years. They actually talk to each other, they get to know one another and they help each other with their careers.
I also loved how when Olive went to Harvard to talk to Adam and confront Tom, Adam immediately went to her and when his friend of almost a decade (asshole Tom) starting saying how it was unprofessional and how she shouldn’t be there, he just told him to shut up because he was so worried about Olive.

Also the fact that Adam was completely on Olive’s side in the confrontation with Tom, how he was literally ready to kill him when he heard the tape, and this showed just how much he loved her (just the ‘you think you can say that about the woman I love’, I want a man like that)
In short, this book is great, characters are amazing (most of them), and Olive and Adam and
Holden and Malcom
are the only reason i believe in love.

Wow! I loved the story, the characters and the writing style so much. This was the nerdy romance I needed. Also, I could relate to Olive as my mother had died of pancreatic cancer, too. I definitely can see why some people might find the story problematic, but for me it was perfect, worth the hype and I would have loved 200 pages more!

I loved this book! The characters were lovable, except Tom for obvious reasons. I like how Hazelwood is able to create characters that everyone loves, but also characters that they hate. My favourite characters are Malcolm and Holden. They are hilarious and super supportive of Olive and Adam. My least favourite character was Tom, and I am glad he got called out for how he treated Olive. I loved Dr Aslan saying "Carry yourself with the confidence of a mediocre white man.” Hilarious! A brilliant read.

I really did enjoy the book overall. It did the fake-dating trope very good and didn’t over-stretch it. But, I feel the author did a lot of telling instead of showing throughout the book
