This was a letdown after my absolute love of Foster and So Late in the Day. The first story, Antarctica, was a repeat from another collection and is still great. Some of the others were good, but none captured me quite as much as I now expect from Claire Keegan.

I think this must be an early collection that shows how the author has progressed. While not my favorite, it certainly hasn’t changed my mind about loving this author!
