Started off incredibly strong, has to be one of the best opening chapters to any book I’ve read. Was great for the first third, but the metaphors became repetitive over the course of the book and it stagnated down into loose and meaningless abstractions. 

Translation work is incredible.

This is a book about the relationship between two different women.
It was a difficult book to read. It was strange, dark and intense. Every sentence is dense and powerful.
