It's an ok book, and cute for learning sounds, but so far my kids have not been super impressed by it. We'll move on to others.

This isn't my most favourite Dr Seuss, but they are all a necessity in any parent's library.

A great book to have kids read along. The story is full of fun sounds.

With Dr. Seuss's birthday becoming more widely recognized and programming requested. I find this easy reader one of his books more accessible to the younger children I get at laptime & storytime. 2/29/12

Unfortunately, the copy I got from inter-library loan is all colored. I will have to see if there is anything I can substitute tomorrow. 2/26/13

Used at Preschool Story Time, but was unable to hold the children's attention for this 3rd book. (5 2 year olds) 3/11/14

Used as the 3rd book for PJ Seuss. 3/2/15

This was the most successful of the Seuss books this year, even though it was the third and last one. They really enjoyed making all the sounds.

This one is a read out-loud book! I LOVE THOSE! I want kids just to read to...
...that aren't actually mine.
Because I'm not ready for someone else to depend on me.

ANYWAY, another win for Dr. Seuss and all his rhymes!

Sorry again for the mass update on these books. I just love Dr. Seuss.

No way can you read this book and not do the sound effects!

Lots of fun animal noises.

Yet another book in my classroom. This one is a little harder because making the noises can be challenging but it's great for teaching the sound words of the English language.

Olivia read this one to Eleanor.

Sam's loving all of the noises in this book -- the train and the slurps are particular favorites.
