Wren finds out that her fiancée has fallen in love with someone else.
Anders lost his wife and is struggling to move on.
They're half a world apart, but meet when Wren spends time with her dad in the states.

Y'all this is such a slow burn and I loved watching the cat and mouse of Wren and Anders. Not even cat and mouse so much as friends to angsty wanna be lovers who can't be and then there's a plot twist that I really wasn't super okay with. I still liked the story and how the author navigated the plot twist but it still felt icky to me. There was also something in the epilogue that I still can't get out of my head that is bugging the crap out of me. Regardless of the ick and the eye twitch thing in the epilogue I'm still giving 4 stars.

This was an emotional one. It was a page turner but man did I feel shattered at times. Wren and Anders both have suffered heartbreak and are trying to figure out how to move forward. If you like JoJo Moyes- you should read this one!

the book was more of coming of age then romance. it dealt with a lot of dark topics. I did not expect the twist at all ! overall, it was an okay short read

3.5 stars.

Ok so it took me forever to read this book only because I’ve been super busy & haven’t had time to read but I loved this book!! It was a super cute story, it kept me interested, and was an easy read. Def recommend if you’re looking for something more light hearted and doesn’t like destroy your emotions lmao. It just just about a girl named Wren who was engaged but then found out her fiancé was cheating on her and a guy named Anders who lost his wife in an accident several years prior. Super cute & sweet

"You can't help who you fall in love with...."

A mesmerizing tale of pure romance.
Wren thought she had it all.
She’s an architect, engaged and content?
Scott, her fiance, falls in love with a coworker.
Heart-broken and confused by the ending of their engagement, Wren takes a trip to Indiana, to visit her father and his family.

Anders and Wren's romance is one centered around coming home and healing, it was a slow-burn that was so rewarding..
I was completely consumed by their story.

Thank you to netgalley, Penguin and the Author for the opportunity to read this arc in exchange for an honest review. I Loved this book so much!!! I cannot stop thinking about it!!
