Austin (H) has been in love with his best friend, Ally (h), for a long time, and when she becomes pregnant with another man's baby, and the father wants nothing to do with them, Austin seizes the opportunity to claim Ally and her baby as his own. Though they've been best friends since middle school, Ally has always felt like she doesn't fit in due to her different social background. Now, Austin is determined to marry her and make her his wife, but Ally is hesitant, thinking he's doing it out of pity rather than love. Ally and Austin have kept their true feelings for each other hidden for a long time, leading to misunderstandings, frustrations, and challenges as they move forward. Sweet and steamy friends-to-lovers romance with lots of feels and some angst.

This was an amazing friends to lovers romance. It was a really well written story and it had a great flow. Austin and Ally had such fantastic chemistry and I loved that. Austin was so dreamy and I loved how he cared for Ally. The story had a little twist to it and it was just amazing.

I have loved every book in this series. I’m never disappointed with a Hope Ford book. Now Allie and Austin have been secretly in love with each other. But, Austin was stubborn so he let her date other men because he believed he could not give her kids because of an injury. Now Allie ends up pregnant, and Austin is glad because he gets have Allie and a baby. Allie feels like she’s just trying to help his friend and refuses to marry him. This book has so much angst, if only these two would say exactly what they mean and want. But of course they finally do and have their happily ever after.
