It's incredible, the twist was amazing - I loved how the most simple explanation was (sort of) true! Very well written. I was trembling and there were tears pricking my eyes the entire time Daisy was 'dead', it was heart wrenching. Both the first kisses were adorable, I ship them both so much (and now Lavinia and George who, by the way, are absolutely perfect for each other). I loved how simple Daisy and Amina's was and how romantic (in its own way) Hazel and Alexander's. Robin is brilliant, nothing comes from nowhere - Daisy's sexuality and George and Lavinia's relationship alike. It was brilliant and I can't wait to read more! 5/5 10/10 BRILLIANT.

As a kid I loved reading the [b:A Murder Most Unladylike Collection #1-8|44567721|A Murder Most Unladylike Collection #1-8|Robin Stevens|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1553248292l/44567721._SX50_.jpg|69170315], so when I found out about this final book I knew I had to read it. I thoroughly enjoyed [b:Death Sets Sail|48722406|Death Sets Sail (Murder Most Unladylike #9)|Robin Stevens|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1589463567l/48722406._SY75_.jpg|74079963], even though it's more of a children's/middle fiction series. I did find the ending to be a bit cliche (I won't spoil it here though) but I sort of suspected it for a book aimed at kids. Overall, it was worth reading for the nostalgia, and if there's anyone like me who's read the others, I'd definitely recommend reading the final novel for closure.

Happy reading x

A great conclusion to this series. At first I thought, oh no, Hazel started off the book mentioning Daisy’s death, but I kept thinking, based on previous books, there’s no way Daisy could have died. Reminds me of  Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty.

The mystery and discovering who the culprit was reminded me of Agatha Christie.

And God, colonizers will be colonizers. White people thinking they’re reincarnations of Egyptian pharaohs? 🙄

Glad Hazel finally gets her crush, though.
