A fun follow-up to Grave reservations in which psychic Leda, her best friend Nikki, and cop Grady become entangled in two connected cases. Leda's signature psychic psongstress act has developed and is much fun to witness, as are her relationships with Nikki and Grady. This was a quick read, perfect for a weekend. While the first book in this series was a little uneven, this one is much better.

Lena and Grady team up to solve another set of murders using his detective skills and her psychic abilities. I was maybe a bit less convinced by parts of this one. Lena is working her case about a missing woman and Grady’s dog finds remains of a missing man in another state so he kinda gets pulled into the case despite having no jurisdiction and then it turns out the two missing people are spouses so the cases are related and can be worked together. It felt like a bit of a stretch to get the two back together, but the rest of the story and the details concerning the disappearances were more reasonable.
