Reasonable hockey romance with a ridiculous ending.
Didn’t love either of the characters or the boss/employee dynamic. It also moved at a ridiculous speed that I really couldn’t get behind.
But I will say it was reasonably enjoyable as just something to have on in the background.
The narrator really enjoyed me and had me put this book aside. There were supposed to be French and Spanish accents but they sounded the same and neither was accurate. I only ended putting it back on because I was about to fall asleep on a long drive and new the absurdity would anger me and keep me awake.
