This novella is better than the book.

The book was OK but calling a spade a spade, with zombie books you can't just be OK. It's all been done before a dozen times and your book will be compared with As the World Dies by Rhiannon Frater and Until the End of the World by Sarah Lyons Fleming.

This was a nice bridge between the first book and the second book. It was nice knowing what happened to Easton and Candace when they got separated from Alex and her children in the first book. Really hope that this Author choose to continue writing the Post Apocalyptic books. She was the Author that got me hooked on the post Apocalyptic.

A great companion to the Sundown series, filling in what happened to two characters from the first book. I liked the story better as a separate book, instead of interspersing two separate stories in the first book by alternating chapters.
