It was a good quick and easy read if you’re looking for something with little to no substance.

This is the fifth Amanda Ashley novel that I have read. Once again, she didn't disappoint. I have never been disappointed with any of her books, but this is my favorite by far.

I don't know why I liked it as much as I did because she seems to use the same formula for all of her books. However, it's the kind of formula I like so I don't have too much of a problem with it.

Maybe the fact that Karinna didn't want to be a vampire had something to do with is since in most of these kinds of stories, the girl is willing to become a vampire to be with the man she loves. But, Karinna isn't willing to give up all the different food she can eat and her family and friends for Jason which I just love since it was refreshing and different. And, to be honest, it was a bit more realistic. I just don't see many girls who would be completely willing to drop everything and everyone from their life to be with the man they love

Overall, a very good book, as usual from Amanda Ashley.

I liked the originality of the plot, but it ended up focusing more on Karinna reading her email and washing her dishes than the cool vampire vs wizard deal. I don't get why Jason fell for her.

Girl gets cursed painting. Boy is cursed yo be in the painting. Girl starts hearing boy's voice in her head. Awkward, boring and unbelievable relationship between the two starts to develop. Snooze

I can not believe this was an Amanda Ashley novel. It was the worst book I've read by her ever. Maybe the worse book I've read in a very long time. It wasn't that the outline of the plot was terrible. I mean it's silly of course, but it could have been handled with humor, but it was just flat and boring, with no chemistry between the H/H. A vampire and a wizard's daughter are trapped for centuries inside two separate paintings. Jason is released from the curse by Karinna. They fall in love, but she can't get past his being a vampire. The heat level is almost G rated. Jason feels obligated to release the wizard's daughter from the curse as well. Once released she realizes he doesn't love her and runs away. She just so happens to run into a vampire and decides to stay with him. The Wizard that cast the spell knows it was broken and sets out exact his revenge. The writing was just plain terrible. Too much time is spent on the two cursed people acclimating themselves to our century. She describes their adjustments when the vampire is released and again when the witch is released. One minute Jason doesn't help carry bags because in his time women carried and fetched so the men could keep their hands free to grab their weapons, then later Jason was as always the gentleman and helped carry in the groceries. I have said this many times, I am not hard to please. I overlook a great many things other reviewers complain about in books, but this was just plain bad. Very disappointed .
