Every character in this book is toxic. Every character is selfish. If all these characters weren’t so repressed and stymied by social convention, they wouldn’t be so terrible. I kind of loved it.
I loved the way it showed how passionate and obsessive love, especially in the case of Heathcliff, can more often than not cross over into villainy. It’s the most anti-romance book ever written, and the cynic in me really appreciates that.

My only thoughts while reading this was "they piss me off so bad" or "is that necessary?". A tough read because every single character is unbearably unlikeable!!!!!

My third read of Wuthering Heights, it still grips me completely. Raw and haunting and astonishing and one of the few novels that never loses its power.

Con este libro tengo una clase de amor y odio, me hizo tener tantos sentimientos que no necesariamente son buenos. Es un libro excelente que si o si debes leer.

I really wanted to love this book, I don't. The first 80 pages are a drag but it does paint a wonderful picture of a miserable, cold, wet England. It gets better for sure but I never know who is narrating or when in time we are??? There are parts of the book I really enjoy but it is a slog to the end! Sorry Emily, you have not dethroned Jane Austin for me!
