I loved it. I wish there was another book. I want to know about the new classes in the dead ed group. I loved their names, Paramour polly, scratcher Suzy. The story was a new twist on a very dead topic. I couldn't help but think that it would have been better if Charlotte did end up with Damen and Eric with Scarlett. They just seemed to fit. But I loved the ending anyway. If the ending had a part where petula gets in the Wendy's faces for ditching her, that would have made my day. :)

Not my favorite out of the ghostgirl books, but it was ok. I found it very slow to start, however the feel good nature of this series is there again. Following Charlotte and Scarlet through their journeys is always entertaining and watching them grow is never boring.

If you'd like to read this review on my blog.

Lovesick is the third and final installment in the Ghostgirl trilogy. In it, Charlotte has finally found what seems like true love, but on the last day of her working at the station, they tell her some news that might not be so good. They have to go back.

Reading this book was kind...bleh. I must admit and give credit to the author, this book was hell of a lot better than the first two. I mean, a lot of the troubles I saw didn't shine as much in this book. They were still there, but not as present as before. But in reality, it was kind of boring and plot-less. I was 100 pages in and I still didn't know what the purpose of it all was. My general thoughts were that this book wasn't really something.

Charlotte isn't as annoying as always. She does make some stupid and unnecessary decisions but I didn't really care about them. Scarlet did become more annoying in this book. She was just in crisis that didn't make sense and I really didn't feel about. And the whole Petula being changed thing was really ridiculous. It was just plain weird.

The narrator constantly telling about things that it shouldn't be saying intensifies in this book. There was a point where I broke and just didn't want to continue reading anymore. But I managed.

And that "plot twist", like, I guessed it at the beginning of the book. It was so obvious.
SpoilerReally, Maddy was behind the girl this whole time. Are you serious? That was so obvious. And stupid.

There were some good moments along the book, it had it's moments, and I think this book was the best of the three. But at the same time I felt that it was so dragged on, like, enough, leave Charlotte alone.

Also, the same I-caused-so-many-troubles-and-yet-at-the-end-it-doesn't-matter ending happened and it was a really bad case of it.

I'm just glad I'm done with this series, really, I'm just over with this.

Overall, this book is a nice seat-warmer (there just for boring and no-book-left moments) and I don't think I'll ever read them again.

I plan on marathoning this along with the other two books. Because I messed up and read the second first and after a long time I read the first and now I'm reading the third after and even longer time? I don't think so. I'm reading the three of you.

Much better writing, and a more solid story arc.

I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. It took me awhile to get to it because its the third in the series, so I had to track the other two down. A fun, paranormal, young adult read. I enjoyed this series so far, and I wish I was 14 again to enjoy it better! There seems to be a bit of a disconnection with the main character and her age, but maybe its because I am older.

Beautiful cover! Worth it just to look at it!

I enjoyed it. It made me so happy to know that Charlotte finally had what she always dreamed about and so much more. At the beginning (in the first book), all she wanted was love and to stop being invisible, and at the end she did get love in so many forms and she “became visible.” She found her soulmate, Scarlet. She made genuine connections with Prue & Pam & other classmates. She met her parents. And she met Eric. The ending of this book is bittersweet for me because what happens then? Once her friends and everyone she knows move on to the next step, what will happen then? Will they finally rest in peace? And what does that mean? Will it be like waking up from a dream but this time you won’t wake up again? I know they will always be in her heart but idk it makes me feel sad. At least she’s happy now and she learned so much that she became a professor (or something like that) for the next generation. I liked this book. I just couldn’t stand that Damen & Scarlet fought so much. That was painful to read.
