Olivie's writing will always do it for me, however this book definitely took a very scientific focus and I missed a lot of the character study from the first of the series.

It’s the type of book that you read when you’re finally out of a reading slump, just for it to take you into another one; for me, personally, it was the biggest reading slump ever and I forced myself to finish it, thinking it would be better than the first book. It’s boring, it has no plot, just dialogues that make no sense, everything is encrypted and abstract. I would say it’s definitely the type of book that is not meant for everyone and it should’ve been mentioned by the author from the start so that we wouldn’t waste time on it. It’s meant for a specific range of people, most likely ones that are interested in topics like physics and science. That’s all.

I thought this was even better than the first! I don't actually think I know who exactly is the "bad guy" because there is so much dark and intrigue. I'm totally gripped, can't wait for the next one. Audiobook is amazing with multiple narrators.

Prose: 2.75/5. I don't remember the first book being this bad?
