I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed the second installment in the Song of Ice and Fire series - at times, I could barely drag myself away from it!
The new characters are introduced seamlessly and the old characters are advanced at a pace that is a little quick but still easy enough to keep up with.
As I've watched the tv show, I noticed how early on some of the plot developments happened in the book and must say that I much prefer the way that events unfolded on the pages to on the screen.
The only thing that worries me is that I'm getting very into this series and will soon run out of books to read!
