I really like Doyles' writing. I dock a star because of the sexism and racism, which caused me to cringe everytime it occurs and not enjoy it.

This was a really short book however, it was a really impactful book. The characters are lovable and the plotwas   a strong one. I was quite dubious about reading this due to the fact it was classic. However, I felt that I actually really enjoyed it and I wanted to carry on reading
