I listened to the audiobook of this by Greg Wagland. I really love listening to Sherlock Holmes at nighttime, so relaxing. I liked this one more than A Study in Scarlet.

Not my favourite one. Probably my least favourite one. As usual, I enjoyed the way Mr Holmes solved the case, but I'm not too keen on the long explanation that came after. I don't feel the exoticism of Britons in India and the last part of the book feels a little dull to me.

Not as good as the first.
Still enjoyed satisfying conclusion and interesting mystery solving

A little boring. Listening to it as an audiobook def. didn't help, because at some point I didn't actively listen any more. What I did hear was a lot of talking.

I am quite disappointed in myself that it took me so long to finish this book. but that reason is because I usually read it at night when I couldn't read any physical books due to roommates and whatnot. Having finished it I can say I enjoyed it (I would have dropped this baby long ago if I had not enjoed it), but with that in mind, I didn't enjoy it enough to give it 5 stars. I understand the absolutely different times in which the book was written, but the instalove and insta marriage was kinda meh for me. But as a person who studies history I also know that I should NOT judge a period by its actions because those were the times. Still, not my favourite Sherlock story. Let us hope that I read more of Arthur Conan Doyles books in the future.
