One of the best books I've ever read! The writing style is absolutely gorgeous and the story is gripping and emotional. It's a little slow at the start, but you can't put the book down once things start speeding up. The characters are so fleshed out that they feel real. I loved every single sentence!

i LOVED THIS !! george eliot i love you !! honestly SO funny, some of the lines these characters come out with are absolute gold and would still land as well if used tomorrow, i guess humour is timeless. a huge and extremely varied cast of characters all of whom i remembered and was invested in ? a win for sure. dorothy and will are end game, who doesn’t want to be loved the way will ladislaw loves dodo:
