The library of Congress entry for this book lists it as a love story, and I suppose that is true. However., much as one of our narrators would like it to be a live story between two people, I would argue it’s a love story to life itself, the vibrant people around us, the life we live together.

This book feels like a warm hug, a platonic snuggle with your dearest friend. It is silly, funny, hopeful, wacky, emotional, and tender. It makes me fall in love with life in a way I haven’t in some time, honestly.
