I never dnf books, but I just can't take this anymore. There was a scene that made me so upset I had to skip it, and I'm still too worked up over it. It's probably not a scene that would hurt most people, but shit, it sure hurt me. And now I don't feel like reading anymore and I don't care how this ends.
Also, everyone always threatens Rika with rape, I'm supposed to root for Rika and Michael despite the fact that he's three years older than her and was into her when she was underage, and the characters are all horrible. Rika is so painfully stupid it hurts my brain, and Michael has the personality of a freaking toaster. All the other guys made "I hate women and take what I want because I'm rich and fuck consequences" their only personality trait. Literally the only interesting character in this whole godforsaken book is Alex.
