Great narration on the audio book. Easy to digest short story.
Now THIS is the type of sci-fi short fiction I like! Proposes a thought provoking moral dilemma, has a small cast of characters, featured a conspiracy, and ends with enough ambiguity to have me thinking about it for days to come.
I was absolutely enamoured by the writing and couldn’t put it down. I fucking love this unique take on genetic engineering and infertility!

It was okay. Couldn't really grasp the bigger picture. It was hinted at, but never fully revealed. Would not recommend.

I liked this. While it was sci fi/speculative fiction, it focused more on the human element, and that's not a bad thing. The ending was a tiiiiiny bit flat for me, that's why only 3 stars, not 4, but it was an enjoyable read.
Well that was something… was interesting and like an episode of black mirror which pulled me in quick but the ending…? That was a let down honestly. This is an incredibly fast read if you need something for a subway ride.
David Harbour narrates really well. That said, I got a little confused at the end and felt the overall story was a little pessimistic- though a very interesting concept!

You have arrived at your destination is the 4th read in the Forward Collection by Amor Towles.
this story I really enjoyed its main focus was based on genetical engineering where the main characters Sam and his wife Annie want to pursue having a child when they are presented with the chance to choose a child based on what they wanted from the child such as behaviors etc.
Vitek was the fertility laboratory which they had come across that specializes in genetic nudging where they were presented with 3 choices of the potential life their unborn child may have should they choose one.
Sam feels very uncomfortable with this situation after discovering Annie had gone to the clinic without his knowledge, and he leaves to go to a bar afterwards to console his thoughts, where he reflects on his own life
I enjoyed this super-fast short story. I would have loved to have a bit more to this story, but considering it was a short 50 pages, a lot of detail was accomplished.
