I wasn't a big fan of the previous book, [b:Gone for You|34041694|Gone for You (Wild Side, #1)|Riley Hart|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1485688587s/34041694.jpg|54744806], which had me worried a bit, because I'm usually a fan of the author's works. This novel brought back my hope for the series.
Both Miles and Quinn were both great, likable and complex characters. I loved the kindred spirits theme of their romance, and the build up to the inevitability of their pairing was delicious to behold. It goes without saying that the sex was hot.
Bonus: I felt dumb when I finally, FINALLY realized that the Quinn in this novel was the one in [b:Jumpstart|30830789|Jumpstart (Crossroads #3.5)|Riley Hart|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1475249830s/30830789.jpg|51425344]. I love these shared universes, and the interactions between them make me giddy!
