(Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)

Ride or Die and its heist and prank atmosphere makes it a quick read. Not only do you want to find out who this mysterious figure is, but each prank, heist, and dangerous nighttime escapade sweeps you away. Full of puzzles, riddles, and letters Ride or Die is perfect for anyone who likes the idea of pushing ourselves and of meeting someone who will up the ante. It's also a story deeply rooted in friendship and trust.

This book is for high school teens only!! I will be reviewing this as someone who is not the target demographic!!

Loli Crawford- Main
Cairo Dahmani- BFF
Ryan Pope- BFF, Basilica (band), grey asexual

Loli throws a surprise house party to steal back her stolen necklace. While retrieving the necklace, she meets a Mysterious Voice in the closet.

The next day she goes to her favorite coffee shop called Westerns. The cashier gives her a envelope left by MV. He sets up rules for them to meet after exams, an anonymous adventure...

I really enjoyed the audiobook narrator, Jasmin Walker. They brought the book to life while perfectly capturing Loli's youthful recklessness.

This book was a WILD RIDE! As soon as I read the premise and saw that beautiful cover I was hooked. Loli is a fun, lively and beautiful main character who constantly seeks out adventure and it was so refreshing to read about a someone who wasn’t pictures- perfect but rather unapologetically herself.

I don’t have any complaints about this book and I think the author truly has a gift for storytelling. The problem is that I lost interest halfway through because I felt like the pace lost its momentum in the middle and I didn’t really know where the author was trying to take us. Some things happened that I am still trying to make sense of and I closed the book feeling rather confused.

If you are curious about this story, I would actually still recommend giving this a try because it was really enjoyable but maybe go into it for the sake of the characters and the overall old-school vibe rather than what the premise sells.
