I really loved this book!! It was super thoughtful and literary. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because it’s not exactly a page turner… because it’s told in pieces and is thought based, it doesn’t have a “edge of your seat” kind of plot line that I personally love, though I know that is personal preference.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book like this before and I don’t think I’ll read one like it again, Vuong’s writing is incredible, it did not disappoint. I did get confused and lost in some parts of the book genuinely had no clue what was going on
