I hate when authors keep going and going and GOING with a series they know good and damn well even they are sick of.
I agree everything went downhill from the amnesia book on. I have only kept listening to this series in hopes Charley and Reyes get Beep (WHAT AN IDIOTIC NICKNAME FOR A BABY BTW) back.
I am 54% into listening to this and reading reviews to see if someone gives the ending away so I can STOP.
Charley has not been funny for a LONG time. Her names for EVERYTHING are annoying AF.
Her jokes remind me of the drunk guy at a bar who thinks he's funny. (He's not)
I will NOT ever ever ever read anything from this author AGAIN.
(Back to find a review with an ending spoiler now.) Someone SAVE ME.

I'm happy they wrapped things up and there wasn't any cliffhangers but GRACIOUS, so many of the characters moved on and or died. It was rough. Except Ash....that was not helpful.

4.25 - The End? I need the spin off, especially with that final sentence.

I can't believe it's the end for this wonderful series! It's worth noting that even though this may be the end of the Charley Davidson/Reyes Alexander Farrow series, the cliffhanger leaves me to think there could be another series in the works for Beep and Osh! OH, PLEASE!!!

Thank you Darynda Jones! You've given me 13 awesome stories that I will treasure!

It’s rare for me to enjoy a lengthy series, because USUALLY the plots and character arcs get so bland and stretched I loose interest. However, Jones has done the near impossible and finished a massive series on a very high note. Loose ends were tied off, character arcs came to full conclusion...yes she probably could keep writing them, but stopping at 13 is super fitting for our favorite Grim Reaper!

The book opens and Charlie has been stuck in hell without coffee! *gasp*! After a long century she returns, Reyes finds her and explains that hell has been opened and the demons are basically reaking havoc. The dynamic duo and the rest of the gang proceed to find out ways to save the world!

It’s a bitter sweet goodbye, but Summoned to 13th Grave is by no means a weak ending. If anything it’s made me want to go back and read the whole series all again!

3 for this book, but a 4 for the series. It feels good to make it to the end of the series. I loved the laughs along the way.

This series kept me in such a chokehold! I loved Charley’s snarky sense of humor and the dynamics between her and Reyes. She grew so much in this series! I feel a profound sense of loss now that it’s over. If you love a good enemies to lovers, forbidden, supernatural romance with humor galore, then I highly recommend this!

Normally, these books are good for a quick, steamy distraction. This one felt rushed, obvious, and the ending was extremely disappointing. Wish I'd just left off on the twelfth one, if be happier for it.
