I read this book 5 years ago but it was so cute it stuck with me and I read it again. Set in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, it was a great look into a city I've never been to before. If you're looking for a super fun, sweet romance with lots of cooking, I highly recommend this book!

Amazing in the beginning but I kind of got bored in the middle plus the oncoming revelation was a bit scary too.I had a fun time reading this book but I wished the writing was a bit better - maybe then it would have been more captivating. The loving couple who died got me really sad but their undying and complete love for each other was almost inspirational. I am not going to lie, I'm really glad that we got a coconut cake recipe at the end. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it soon.

I loved this book. Yes, it was a similar story to You've Got Mail but enjoyable nonetheless. The book was well written and I couldn't put it down.

Corny and not the best writing but I enjoyed it wholeheartedly for what it was. FYI I listened to the audiobook and did not love the narrator.

It's probably more like 3.5 stars but it's just so darn cute that I'm rounding up. Just don't read it hungry.

Ugh. I wanted to like this book. Unfortunately there weren’t really any likable characters and they were very stereotypes. A lot of details didn’t make sense one seen to the other. I would have liked better descriptions of the food.
