So raw and so emotional. I knew this one was going to gut me even before I started reading it. While I enjoyed Aiden and Elsa’s story and the books Rina Kent wrote.

Nothing will compare to Xander and Kimberly.
I found a lot of myself in Kimberly and she will always be one of my favorite FMC.

I am excited to continue with the world!

I really enjoyed this book.
Rina Kent did a deep-dive into these characters and made me really love them.
The storyline was interesting while being heartbreaking. It was also lighter in the spice department in the sense of frequency.
Would definitely recommend, BUT CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!

double virgin alert!!
I just want to give her a hug and kick him in the balls. They are so flawed and so perfect for each other.

This book broke me and put me back together. I just love how Rina can do this to us, and in the end I just want to read more and more books written by her.

Kimberly was struggling with self harm, eating disorder and insecurities, and Rina portrayed so beautifully what our sweet Kim is going through.

Xander was once her knight in shining armor, but ever since his mother left him he struggled with alcoholism.

Somehow, everything they go through in this book only makes them grow closer and heal each other souls.

Kim! Honestly, throughout Elsa and Aiden's book, I was curious about what was happening with Kim and Xander. The books kept making little remarks about their history, and we know Kim grew up with the guys, but we never really delve that deep into things. But this one starts off really strong because we quickly learn just how rough Kim's life has been and the emotional trauma she's been forced to deal with due to how her mother treats her. She even threatens her through her baby brother, and it's just terrible. We knew in the previous books that her parents weren't around that much, but I never realized how bad it was until this one. Plus, the big reveal of this book would involve her brother being like her half-sibling and Xan's. Still, it ends up going down an even crazier path. On the other hand, Xan has been holding onto that secret for a very long time, and that's why he was so terrible to her suddenly. I wish we had more groveling from him because he did awful things to her, and she accepts it and moves on a little too fast. Same with the ending; it wraps up a bit too soon. I wish we had more time to work on everything after it's revealed.
