I couldn’t put it down. (US) Historical fiction from a decade and location I’ve hardly cared about, yet it captivated me.

I liked this book, but not as much as her other books. I feel like it could have been written in less pages. It left me wondering what happened to Refe, which he was never mentioned. As long as the book was, it felt like the ending was abrupt.
