Dragon Hunters meet dragon ecologist, chaos ensues. Fun read, another cliffhanger so now I need to put the next few books on hold at the library. Also going to watch the show now.

This series is such a weird one for me. I adore the art and much of the idea of dragon hunters sailing the skies. The food element 5 course, the main reason I picked it up, and it doesn't disappoint either.

But the parallel to whaling isn't a small one, and that makes the whole situation far from a favorite. The previous volumes was heavy on it as a positive, but I am happy to see that volume 4 leans the other way with the introduction of a character who provides a perspective that sees the beauty in Dragons instead of their uses.

Even with the complaint, I am still enjoying the series enough to continue it, and the beauty of the linework is some of the best on my shelve
