I went into this one blind, and to its detriment I think. While I enjoyed it for the most part, a CW for the dub/non-con aspect would have been appreciated. I just felt icky after their first sexual encounter with all the no's she was throwing out.

Great second instalment to the costal Elites series, it was roughly half the length of "even if it hurts" and much MUCH softer and sweeter. I feel it was a really great set up for Landon and Parker's book, and hopefully we will get a few glimpses of Dare and Aubrey in the next book too, if im remembering correctly Parker is Hannah's best friend and Hannah is new friends with Aubrey... I'm drawing a blank of Landon and cant remember if he was in the book though his backstory sounds really familiar.
Great story, low angst fairly quick read at roughly 200pages.
Loved Gemma and Hayden.

A reverse forbidden story with the parents of Landon and Parker who will star in the next book.

Gemma knows of Hayden because their children are in the same grade and his son has been bullying her daughter for years, but Gemma personally meets Hayden when she needs some legal advice of own.

Hayden isn't the best lawyer around by backing down, when he meets Gemma he wants her and he isn't going to take no for an answer. While he comes across as a bit aggressive at first, there is more to the man underneath all the posturing.

Just as Gemma and Hayden begin to get along, it's the tenuous relationship between their children that may end them before they ever begin.
