This is my second read of this and it’s very good. Next month, I’m going to work through the exercises on paper. Really great for ironing out your thought life and cleaning up limiting thinking.

If you're interested in this book to know the 'secret recipe' for being rich, you'll be extremely disappointed.

While the premise of the book is very good (change your way of thinking to be able to see things differently), it overextends it by going through the 'positive thinking' and 'the universe is not against you'. If you can look past that, it has some great insights and will most probably change your life in a good way (and that's all we can ask about, really).

However... My bad score for this book lands on the fact that:
- the good points could be listed on a 10-minute read instead of 212 pages
- the premise on why I should listen to Harv is because he has seminars about being rich
- most of the book is about changing your habits and way of thinking but rephrased in different ways

The book gets salvaged by:
- several insight moments (that means, you end up seeing a lot of stuff written that you might have thought but never really stopped to take a closer look at it)
- offers a different point of view that some people might not be used to

I feel bad for giving this book a bad score because it's pretty much against what Harv 'teaches' and some of his stuff is pretty much accurate but I feel like there are better books out there with more complete information and with a clear learning path

Great book and easy read 9/10.

I love the use of journal prompts to help reflect and analyze our subconscious limiting beliefs surrounding money.

Wealth is a mindset!

The book is based on the concept of a financial blueprint which can be described as your thoughts, feelings and actions related to money that were "programmed" into your mind from your past conditioning. The key strategy of molding into a millionaire mind is changing your old counterproductive ways of thinking about money and altering your financial blueprint because if you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible. Else, your confirmation bias comes into play as you start validating your own beliefs from your past experiences, thoughts and incidents you have encountered. And this, I believe, holds true for your life experiences, money-related or not.

What you focus on, expands.

The book is essentially divided into two parts: 1) the concept of manifestation and, 2) your financial blueprint. In the first part, Mr. Eker challenges your mental approach in thinking about money in negative or counterproductive ways and emphasizes the importance of positive thoughts and declarations to reinforce empowering thoughts. Then, in the second path, he dives into a set of wealth principles, giving examples supporting and defying the said claim and techniques on how one can improve his or her financial blueprint. This ensures you think about money differently and this will soon spread onto the other areas of your like because how you do anything is how you do everything.

If you replace “money” with “success” SOAMM is a great blue print to personal, professional, & financial success. Also, a great perspective on the scarcity mentality & how it can hamper our success. Speaks well to both entrepreneurs & non-entrepreneurs, those who want to be millionaires & those who just want to do better than average.

I enjoyed this book becuase it addressed some core items that affect our money blueprint and how we deal with money. He also gives some actions at the end of each chapter, which help to move the reader forward. Although not all ideas resonate with me and I do not agree with all recommendations (network marketing...), but this is still a nice practical book.
