I am not sure how to review this book. It was a mixed bag for me. The book has its merits and interesting way of trying to look into people’s minds, behavior, and the habits they have formed since their childhood. I think some of the ideas and questions that the author has raised here are legitimate but at the same time, I found many to be just complete BS.

I feel how much a reader will get out of this book is all depending on his own mentality. Yes, I agree with the positive messages that the author is trying to put in my head but some of them are just hilarious! One of them he is suggesting is to keep saying “I love rich people”! Why would I do that? I don’t love or hate people based on their wealth. When I know someone well then I can decide whether to love them, hate them, or just ignore them. I am not going to take that advice. Maybe it is more suitable for those who were brought up hating rich people just based on their wealth. But even for those, I feel this nuts!

“Rich people don’t complain, poor people complain all the time”
OK?
Then the author gives us Donald Trump as an example!! Yeah, yeah, Trump never complained! Has anybody ever heard Trump complaining?

This was a quick one to read. The anecdotes and "happy customer emails" were not that credible, but the style suggests that the author was rather advertising his (presumably) very expensive seminars.
Lack of any kind of acknowledgment of privilege and blind or at least one-eyed worship of meritocracy stare the reader straight from the first page on.
Add to that my pet issue to complain about in this kind of book: no, not everyone can get rich with your advice, and they're not supposed to, because you do need the not-ever-going-to-get-rich kind of people to do the work that runs the business that creates your passive income.
Based on what I've read before, the mindset thing (disregarding the manifestation mumbo jumbo) is solid, but of course this kind of packaging of "change your mindset in a weekend and get rich fast" is questionable advice as such.
Even with all the above, I did finish and I did even make some notes, so three stars it is.

Another great example that makes us think so much.

After the Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I no longer feel such a slap with the reading of this book.
With some financial literacy workshops in which I have participated, the shock always starts to be smaller. Even so, I don't feel that the book no longer makes sense. It makes a lot of sense and I advise all those who are interested in this subject as well as those who are not yet interested but where the attention should arouse.

It's a very easy book to read, full of tips, statements, various ideas and ways of thinking about money. It leaves a lot of will to try to apply everything to be able to see/feel/prove the results it "promises".

Once again we come across the strength and power that our background (all the teachings and beliefs that come from the family and the environment in which we were raised and with which we are used to deal) has on us. Not only when it comes to money but in all areas of our lives.
Facing this reality can even be painful.

I strongly recommend this reading.

Polecam.

Both capitalism and America were a mistake (that being said, the book does present some interesting questions, even if it sounds way too naïve and perhaps classist most of the time)
