The possessive, alpha male “you’re mine” thing really REALLY does not do it for me. It feels so dangerous. But, suspending my concerns about predatory tendencies in men being nothing to laugh about, this was still kinda terrible. The writing and storyline were really bland, but I found myself reading on in the way you’d watch a B list movie (eg Sharknado), chuckling along the way because it’s just so absurd.
