This is just a fun time! I expected it to be a bit sillier and more madcap, and I'm glad it wasn't. As it stands, it's an effective and really original haunted house story that also doesn't mind poking fun at itself and some of the more cliche tropes. I had a really good time with this one!

This was a quick little haunted house book. It takes a little too long to get started, I noticed a few annoying typos, and the Damien character did not work for me but overall I had fun.

I had high hopes for this but it consistently fell flat. It felt like Asman had a lot of interesting ideas and tried to shove them into one plot but didn’t think about if they were cohesive or if they could be fully realized.

Over-look the editing errors and enjoy this quick read horror romp for what it is - a delightfully, horribly weird story about a house

that just wants to be loved

. Real talk though, Damien alone gives this book is 4th star - I really dug his character.
