a bit over 4.5 stars
Hands down, my favorite in the series so far.
Overall more realistic than previous stories. Kyler and Robbie are characters very well drawn with their highs and downs, you really can see how they strive to resolve their troubles.
This is not a five stars rating due to two things:
* Kyler process toward his self-acceptance seemed a little rushed to me.

Spoiler
Kyler's showy coming-out in that last concert —another fairytale scene that the author obviously favors— was too much. Considering his past and how difficult the issue was for him, I would have expected Kyler inexorable public coming-out to be quieter (maybe an interview, or a press conference).zelda75's review against another edition
