This was a classic I never got around to reading myself, even though I've owned several copies of it over the years.  The narrator was a delight to listen to, and made the magic of the story that much more engaging.  His voice was a perfect compliment to the enchanting tale.

I actually enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would! A lot happened and I found it a fun prequel to the lion, the witch, & the wardrobe. I liked seeing all the hints to the future books

I know all of the books in this series will be 5/5 stars! The imagery is insanely good and if you know the Bible it is incredibly satisfying to understand all the Easter eggs. The fantasy in this one is of rich world building not one character falling flat. C.S. Lewis is as wonderful at 21 as he was at 8 and 11 <3

Lewis really writes an engaging story that is very captivating. She surprises with beautiful descriptions and I really appreciate the world building in the book, which I found quite detailed for C.S. Lewis. The main characters are endearing, it's fun to watch them bicker.
It is good to read this book as a sixth book, as the mysteries built up in the previous parts are explained here.
