"This was what disturbed you the most: that you could, one day, choose to fall. Not to let yourself go, which would only have been a form of passivity, but to want to descend, to degrade yourself, to become a ruin of yourself."

un récit difficile à lire, vraiment triste. mais c'était aussi très beau, sa façon d'écrire.

An excellent read if you're looking for a stream of consciousness type book. I could really see the world through the narrator's eyes. However, it doesn't really have a driving plot.

Interesting to stumble across a book written with a second person narrator as a fragmented and non chronological memory of a friend who committed suicide . I wish to reread this again one day
