This was a fun, teen scary movie style read. However, it wasn't without some warmth and heartfelt moments. The Dead Oaks series continues to be fun as the society hunts for a monster. I look forward to reading the next installment!

The second book in The Dead Oaks series, I have to say I really enjoyed this read. It was fun, fast-paced, but still had more than enough time for character development and creepiness. Wes and Jasper are the happy couple, doing all things romantic and paranormal together.

That is, until Jasper is inadvertently forced into a "paranormal sleepover" with a handful of kids who haven't been the nicest to him during his high school career. Whether or not this turns into a wild goose chase or a good old fashioned monster hunt is almost secondary to whether or not Jasper is dealing with more than he can handle in the "too many people" department.

Will D.O.P.S. ever be the same?

I think you'll enjoy finding out. I certainly did.
