I was about halfway through this book when I realized that I hadn’t put a hold on book 3 in this series. After the first book, Hardwired, ended in a bit of a cliffhanger I knew this one wouldn’t be wrapped up in a neat bow by the end. But I was so absorbed in the story that I actually forgot to put it aside at the end of the chapter I was on so I could make sure the next book would be available for me. Yep, it was that engaging.

There were some really intense scenes in this story. As much as I was annoyed with Erica in the first book because of her habit of pulling away from Blake, it made sense in this part of the story. I wanted to be annoyed with her, but I couldn’t find it in my heart since she was so devastated by all that was going on around her.

I’m not sure if I really understand the Alli/Heath relationship. But I have to say that the little we do see of Heath in this one helped me to like him a lot more than I did before. I’m also not sure how I feel about one of the new characters, James. There are things I really like about him, but dude has to read the room sometimes. My loyalty to Blake doesn’t help my feelings toward James either.

I... wow.
The story just keeps on going.
What a great series so far.
But this book was emotional, there where so many twists and turns, ups and downs. I felt my heart break about a 1000 times. Sheesh this author really knows how to captivate her audience!!

I will say, I am now a little scared, because this series is 5 book long. And with everything that has already happened i am a little scared that a lot of the drama is going to be dragged out or because unrealistic just to keep the story going¿ I hope not, I have already gotten my hands on the third installment as we speak, because the series really honestly is just that good!

Hmmmm its good, but not maravilloso desastre good, me entiendes?

WOW..didn't expect the twist with the father. This series keeps getting better and better.
