Supercute, cozy monster romance.

Joey, the human woman in her late twenties, who makes her parents worry constantly, because she is "just" a delivery driver.
Taurin, the only minotaur residing in the country, whose anger management issues frequently get him in trouble.
Their unexpected meeting is the beginning of an intense romantic adventure, with a mandatory happy ending.

I really liked the character building in this book. All the main characters and the side characters seemed both magical and realistic at the same time.

The world building is surprisingly detailed for a rom-com. There's a map included in the book, and various monster-cultures are introduced in varying detail. Since the following books in the series are centered around members of other species, I presume we'll get to learn about the intricacies of those later on, but for now, we were introduced to the customs and traditions of minotaurs.

The story is exciting, and even without the "misunderstanding trope", the couple has enough hurdles to get through, so we can cheer them on all the way to their inevitable happy ending.
