I love reading advice, for some reason I find it really soothing, and this was no exception. I loved a lot of the questions but sadly found many of the answers really lacking - which is a shame given it was a book length project, which really could have more room for more nuanced and lengthy answers than they got. Many of the best ones came from the guest advisors.

Like Tiger Beat, but if Tiger Beat’s advice columnists were all polyamorous lesbians
Some of the advice in here was earnest, heartfelt stuff, and some of the advice was Really, Really Bad. 1.5 stars. Rounded up to 2 stars only because of the phrase “there are more dykes in the pit.”

This is a wonderful book written in the Dear Abby Q&A style of advice columns. It’s also filled with adorable doodles.
The advice in this book is outstanding. No matter your age, sexuality, gender, or relationship status, you will learn something from this book. It is very positive and uplifting, and tackles many different topics in useful and fun way.
My only gripe is that some of the pages are printed in hot pink on a white background and they were difficult to look at, in my opinion.
I received a copy of this book from a Goodreads giveaway.

This book is such a fun read for all Sapphic queers! The comedic but honest approach to life advice for all us wlws is comforting and relatable.
Graphic: Ableism, Body shaming, and Emotional abuse
Sone of the questions asked of the writers include some triggering topics. The author has included triger warnings and page numbers in the front of the bookmisskirstyjade's review against another edition

This book was really challenging for me and going into it I didn’t know the history that it started as an advice column and zine. I wanted to give this format a shot but to rate this book feels mainly rating the advice.
To start with the highlights, Guest Expert Kalyn Rose Heffernan’s response to a question on disability and community was everything I was hoping and wishing this book would be. It was uplifting, informative, light and, real, and hopeful and helpful and so much more. The chapter “Support Systems” also had some fairly nice advice.
However, I found most of it flat if not downright shaming of the question-asker and bad which turned me off this book on multiple occasions. There are some nuggets of advice in here that I could see being invaluable, especially to younger queers (which this book seems geared towards), but at the end of the day, not sure i’d recommend this book.
