This book was so good. I loved the way kinsley made you fall in love with Iris and jasper. Iris and dexy's mumma and son bond is the best, and jasper will do anything to keep his iris happy. I love how Iris has no filter and is so unapologetically herself. Yes there is twincest, yes it's completely unhinged but it's 100% brilliant. I can't wait to read dex's story. Kinsley is the queen of taboo.

I want to start this with I didn't give this one star due to the themes. I like taboo topics. I like the crazy, deranged, absolute mindfu*king trauma. I was beyond excited for this book.

Unfortunately, that excitement went away rather quickly and I found myself turning page after grueling page of grammatical errors. I have no idea how I didn't DNF this one.

I had to stop to reread the run on sentences, highlight misspelled words, and circle misplaced punctuation marks.

Within the same paragraph, both "toward" and "towards" were used. Pick one and stick with it. Or at least assign the different spellings to each character.

At one point, I was questioning my own understanding of grammar and had to discuss it with a friend. This author seemed to space out and forget to complete thoughts. Here's the example I got caught up on for nearly an hour: "This is such beautiful art coming to life before me. Where mine is bold and flowing - pun intended. It has depth, it's dark and dramatic. It doesn't stop there."

This paragraph doesn't make sense. There should be a follow up; something along the lines of "Where mine is bold and flowing - pun intended - his is..." Instead, the thought just ends. What the fu*k happened here?

I wanted to blame the editor after the first few issues. Unfortunately, I don't think the editor could have saved this one.

Get ready to be welcomed by the Queen & King of Sutton Asylum:
"One, two, do we scare you?
Three, four, lock the doors.
Five, six, can't hide behind the crucifix.
Seven, eight, we have written your fate.
Nine, ten, you better run. HA just kidding, because you're dead!
XO The Ashford Twins"

My mind is absolutely blown by Sutton Asylum.

This book is fucked in the best way possible.

If you like your smut with a side of slash, gash, horror. You will love this!

The Ashford twins are absolutely demented and depraved, but they are the most beautiful disaster to watch.

They leave nothing but blood, murder and mayhem in their path!

Iris is the living embodiment of Harley Quinn. She is crazy but oh, so endearing. You are just rooting for her to take anyone out. Jasper is the other side of the coin, still dangerous, but he balances her out. They are just absolutely chaotic together.

It was fun, entertaining, and an absolute adrenaline rush. You didn't know exactly where the twins would take you, but you knew you were in for a wild ride.

The bond between the twins was purely magnetic:
"Reaching up, I take my hand and wrap it around her neck. Our vows aligned, Mine and Yours  we will always be one depraved soul split into two bodies, connected forever, even after death tries to separate us."

So if you're ready for the madness, here's an announcement:
" Hello Sutton, this is your prom Queen! That's right! We are finally getting the prom we have been dreaming of. This year's theme is Blood, Murder and Mayhem!"

Hats off to you, Kinsley! I can't wait until Dex's story 🖤

Sutton Asylum is a dark taboo romance that will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat. This story DOES contain subject matter that is NOT suitable for everyone. Again, THIS IS A TABOO ROMANCE between

Honestly just to die for, at first I was like maybe a little more fucked up than I thought I’d be but then it got soo good.  The humor, the suspense the craziness of it all.  I was laughing out loud on the street like a crazy person while reading this.  I was smiling down at my phone while some lady I passed on the street said I looked like I was in love (while I was reading a horrorifyingly smutty scene) LOL.  And the ending, omg so funny.  DEX— it’s her
