I skipped the Assassin’s Blade my first time reading the TOG series. I’m happy I read it in this time around. Here are my thoughts:

I’ve never been more annoyed with Celeana then reading the last book/story, The Assassin and the Empire. My favorite story was The Assassin and the Desert. I also enjoyed the assassin and the healer. Had no real canon plot but still a fun read. I also loved how each story went seamlessly together in timeline but still separate adventures. 3.5/5
