A solid take on the body snatcher/alien genre with a wonderfully unique monster. I loved this.

Ronald Malfi never disappoints. Fast moving, tense, and bleak at times. What if Invasion Of The Body Snatchers took place during a raging blizzard? Well, This story does it’s best to answer that. I had fun!

Where do I begin? The writing was beautiful. There was so much potential with this story. But for me, once the snow monsters came into play, I read it as a comedy. Nope, the baddies weren't scary to me. I'm sure that's just a 'me' thing.
Also, I wasn't a huge fan of the characters.
I read often, and I totally understand that most characters reflect back on their life history/ mistakes when they should be more concerned about survival instead of self-improvement. For some reason, I just couldn't really get into this one.

I hated all of the characters and not in a fun way. Felt both formulaic and disjointed. Not a fan of the writing and metaphors. Not sure what Malfi has against fat people either.
