wow

This storyline is fantastic. I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with so many characters and kept up with the story arcs like I have with this book.

Ok so at first I was kind of bored and the characters kept switching i found kind of annoying. But about 70% in shit got real and I was enthralled

Much better. New characters that are actually enjoyable. Plot thickening.
Weird non-romance romance that makes me roll my eyes.

This has been my favorite of the series so far! I thought book one was pretty slow and simple, book two was better but still okay, and this one I really enjoyed. You get multiple POVs, and there were moments that made me IRL teary eyed. I have hope that the rest of the series is gonna be great.

this was so so much fun because we were taken out of the main setting of the series and got to experience what magic actually is like in this universe. rowan and aelins relationship growing from that hatred to so much respect for each other was so so good. they started as enemies and ended as equals and i loved that. the manon parts were a little slow and honestly i didn’t really get into them until the very very end, but even then i feel like i always felt a little annoyed when the pov switched to her..so sorry! n e ways, chaol and dorian are my faves, brothers by their souls UGH love. and aedion is such a great addition to this story and i can’t wait to his his reunion with aelin.
